Development
Developing a successful product or website requires careful analysis, planning and execution. However, the process of developing a product can be broken down into three distinct stages. My development approach is simple: make it work, then make it pretty, then make it fast. In this blog post, I will explain why my development philosophy will help you create a successful product or website.
Make It Work
The first step in developing any product or website is to make sure that it works properly. This means that all of the features should be functioning correctly and without any bugs or errors. Additionally, all of the necessary security protocols should be in place to protect users’ data and keep the website safe from malicious attacks. Once the product or website has been thoroughly tested and is working as expected, it’s time to move on to the next stage.
Make It Pretty
Once a product or website is functioning properly, then it’s time to focus on making it look good. This can include anything from designing an attractive user interface to selecting appropriate colors and fonts for your branding materials. A well-designed product or website can go a long way towards making users feel comfortable interacting with your brand and products.
Make It Fast
The last step in my development process is to make sure that your product or website performs quickly and efficiently. This includes optimizing images for faster loading times as well as ensuring that pages are loading quickly regardless of connection speed or device type (mobile vs desktop). A slow-loading site can frustrate users and drive them away before they have had a chance to interact with your brand in more meaningful ways.
No matter what project you are working on—whether it’s developing a new software application or creating a new website—my development philosophy of “make it work, then make it pretty, then make it fast” should serve you well in ensuring success with your project. By following these steps you can ensure that your product works as expected, looks great, and loads quickly so that users have the best possible experience when using your product or visiting your website!
